Just got back from a 2-week trip to Dalsland. Did a lot of work in and around our new house, and had a great time with my family. We have also met a lot of people around and made some new friends, that feels real good ! They know who they are :-) . Also spent time on business and after that i did some research, and discovered some really good fishing waters for pike, salmon, and trout. Overall i had only time for a 4 hour- fishing trip myself on one of those waters. The fishing was hard (fishing always is) but the weather was good, so no complaints. And after a few big followers i caught this nice pike .

I hope to meet you soon for some fishing !

Just got this picture from Frank Bosma.  He also visited in 2012 and caught this pike on  Lake Vänern . 

So i had to adjust the top 10 again :-) 

Nice that so many people send in their pictures.  

Autumn is coming up, and that's also a real good fishing period. So i 'm not surprised if the top 10 for 2012 will change again soon, with some nice new pictures ! 

And next year we'll start a new one of course.

I just received some nice pics from Koen Lemmens. The pics were taken in early May, a week before the predator tour.  I find this a beautiful colored pike ! (Click pic to enlarge) . Misty weather, and no wind at all as you can see. Not the best pikefishishing circumstances ....

....but fortunately the fish thinks otherwise sometimes, as you can see :-)

Winter can change to spring in just a few days here .

The fishing was though for these guys, cold days, strong winds, and heavy rain .But that's fishing, and they managed to catch them,  so even it's a while ago, it's worth to post it here, don't you think  ??

While putting together the top-10 of biggest pikes caught in the area, i received this picture from one of the local experts in Dalsland, Konny Gustavsson from Fishing team Dalsland. 

This nice fat 118 cm green lady was caught in lake Laxsjön , 20 Juli 2012 . 

Spring fishing is best, and so is autumn. But summer fishing can also be really good as you can see :-)
